Wow! What a great cleanup! Almost
1,000 bags of trash were collected, plus over 575 tires, and dozens
of old appliances. And don't forget about the BOAT!
The Kentucky Krawlers picked major trash and won the $500 cash for
collecting the most trash. They collected more trash than the next
two teams COMBINED. And to top off their awesome performance, they
donated the money right back to Trail Keepers - way to go guys (and
gals)!
Holly Marlow's team from White Oak took home second place and $250.
Her team wasn't scared to pick up trash - in fact they picked most
of their trash up around a graveyard. Scary!
And
in third place, the TKO Trailriders from Cincinnati claimed the $150
cash prize.
Chris Corum won a set of 4 BFG tires in the raffle. Other winners
walked away with tire deflators from TJM Bullbars, free gas from Exxon
of Jellico, free dinner at Buckners, $100 in fireworks from the Frontier
House of Jellico, and many other great prizes.
After the cleanup, all of the volunteers were treated to a great cookout,
