The Trail Keepers works closely with land owners and acts as a volunteer labor source, and information source.
Some of the services we perform for land owners:
- Document trail systems (GPS)
- Plant trees
- Trash removal
- Monitor areas
- Report timber theft
- Report rock theft
- Document gas line routes
- Mend fences and gates
- Permit system development and administration
And, most importantly, as an information source, we provide land owners with information on government trail grants, insurance, environmental issues, trail building engineering, and more! We put land owners in touch with neighboring land owners, clubs, judges, and government officials. All to make a land owner's chore of maintaining his land between timber harvests and mining operations easier and more cost-effective. In return, Trail Keepers members have the satisfaction of providing a useful service, and land to enjoy and explore.
